This book has been sitting on my Kindle for some time and just the other day I decided that it was time to conquer it, and I must say I wish I had done it sooner. When I first began to read the gripping tale of seventeen year old Kenley that was being drafted into the military with her best friend Joey I immediately got the same vibe as when I read The Hunger Games. To be honest it intrigued me, I had no idea what direction this war story would take. Delving deeper into the novel I was faced with a roller coaster of emotions. Love and heartbreak being the most prominent. I made it through more then half the book in just a few hours, I reluctantly had to put it down for a few days since I didn't have the time to delve back in! I literally just finished reading it moments ago and knew that I had to get right on my blog and write it a stellar review! Kunz took me into a syfi world that I couldn't even begin to imagine! (I'd tell but I don't want to spoil it for those of you who wish to read!) This book truly illuminates how their government the, Allied Federation, will do anything to control everything within their grasp.
This book will definitely leave you hanging at the end ready to engulf the sequel as soon as it's released! I know I'll be on the lookout for the next one!
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a captivating adventure as well as anyone who is looking to read something new and exciting!
